From marginalized communities to at-risk groups such as women, children, refugees, and indigenous peoples, our work is rooted in the belief that protecting human rights is essential for creating a just and equitable world.

Our Mission

Our mission is to safeguard and promote human rights across communities, ensuring that individuals have the support and opportunities needed to live safely and securely. By advocating for the rights of the most vulnerable, engaging in education and awareness campaigns, and providing direct assistance, we aim to strengthen the global human rights framework and empower individuals to stand up for their rights.

What We Do

1. Human Rights Advocacy
   We actively advocate for policies and laws that protect individuals’ fundamental rights and freedoms. By engaging with governments, international bodies, and local organizations, we push for legal reforms, better protection for marginalized groups, and the enforcement of human rights standards at all levels.

2. Support for Victims of Human Rights Violations
   We offer direct support to individuals who have been affected by human rights violations, including victims of trafficking, gender-based violence, and discrimination. Our programs provide legal aid, mental health support, and reintegration services to help victims rebuild their lives.

3. Community Empowerment & Education
   Education is one of the most powerful tools for protecting human rights. We implement awareness campaigns and educational programs to help communities understand their rights, how to defend them, and how to recognize and report violations. By empowering communities, we help them become active participants in advocating for their own protection.

4. Women and Children’s Rights
   IEDO has a particular focus on the rights of women and children, advocating for their protection from violence, exploitation, and discrimination. We work to improve access to education, healthcare, and social services, and to ensure that children grow up in environments that respect their rights and dignity.

5. Support for Refugees & Displaced Persons
   We work to ensure that refugees, displaced persons, and asylum seekers are treated with respect and dignity. Our programs provide legal and social support, access to education, healthcare, and essential resources, as well as advocacy for safe resettlement opportunities.

6. Environmental Protection & Rights
   We believe that human rights and environmental sustainability are interconnected. Our organization works to protect the environment, as it is integral to the well-being and survival of many communities. We advocate for environmental justice, especially for vulnerable populations who are disproportionately affected by environmental degradation.
